Designed by architect Chris Hunter, P.Arch. of Hunteroffice, Glacier View is a 3,000-square-foot custom home rooted in passive house principles. Located on a gentle west-facing slope in the Garibaldi Highlands, this thoughtfully planned residence prioritizes comfort, efficiency, and connection to the landscape. The heart of the home is its expansive kitchen and great room, seamlessly opening to a private courtyard through a custom 40-foot lift-and-slide glass door—blurring the line between indoor and outdoor living.
Built for a growing family, the home includes three bedrooms with terrace walkouts, a second-floor family room, and a 400-square-foot basement office with its own exterior entrance. Every space was designed to invite natural light, encourage flow, and support day-to-day life with flexibility and warmth. Glacier View offers a balance of refined design and livable function, making it ideal for both quiet family time and lively gatherings.
